The founder of Inframantra said the housing sale in Gurugram has been breaking all the records, due to its high demands in the luxury and mid-income housing segment. In 2022, the housing sale performed exceedingly well even with higher home loan borrowing rates as new launches got limited which led to demand exceeding supply. The trend is going to continue in 2023 with a possible easing of interest rates by the end of 2023.

In 2022, the sale rose 54% 2022 to 3, 64.900 units as against 2, 36,500 units across Delhi-NCR, Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune. This was last seen in 2014 when nearly 3.43 units were sold across the top seven cities. The sales of housing in 2013 was 3, 18, 400 units whereas in 2014 it was 3, 08, 980 units; 3, 08, 250 in 2015; 2, 39, 260 units in 2016; 2, 11, 140 units in 2017; 2, 48, 310 units in 2018, and 2, 61, 360 units in 2019.
